The Irish Local Development Network has congratulated its member Local Development Companies (LDCs) South West Mayo Development Company & Cavan County Local Development Company on their inclusion in the Department of Public & Expenditure and Reform’s “OPS2020” Excellence in Customer Service Care Case Studies publication.
The Irish Local Development Network of 49 Local Development Companies (LDCs) have been engaged in their communities offering a wide range of services as part of the “Community Call” and “Keep Well” Campaigns throughout the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, through the support of the Social Inclusion Community Activation Programme (SICAP) and a number of other state funded programmes LDC
South West Mayo Development Company have been included in “OPS 2020” for their efforts in supporting people living in Direct Provision in Ballyhaunis, Co. Mayo during COVID-19 while Cavan County Local Development’s effort in establishing a partnership with FoodCloud and local suppliers opening Food Centres providing enough reach and supplies to deliver food parcels across the entire county.
